12 AMAZING Repurposed Backyard Projects!

Repurposed Projects

Spring has sprung! What a perfect time to get out in the garden for some quality time with the kids and there’s nothing better than a fun weekend project.

adam-mcnamaraLast weekend my son and I got to make a new compost bin ready for our spring gardening. I had some old timber pallets lying around that we used to form the walls and some shade cloth scraps from a previous project that was used to help keep the compost in.¬†We had a great time together and my ‘little helper’s’ hammer skills and confidence grew enormously.

There are so many fantastic ideas for weekend backyard projects, and materials are so easy to come by without having to buy anything new. Timber pallets can easily be picked up from local businesses who are willing to give them away. Contact your local orchard to pick up some old timber apple bins for a great price. They are perfect for building cubbies and treehouses.

Today I’m sharing with you my favourite projects that are on my to-do list, enjoy! And please feel share your projects on the Eco Toys Facebook page too, we’d love to hear about them.
