  30. shana says:

Kids learn through play and this toy is a great way for them to let their imagination roam. There are so many items for them to play with that they can enjoy this on their own or with their friends/siblings. Up, up and away! Let’s play!

  31. Meagan says:

  41. Narelle says:

I just love that it’s so sturdy and will last a lifetime because it’s good quality. We’ve had a couple of wooden garages and the like given to us for the kids and they have all broken really quickly because they’re just not good quality. It’s hard to find something like this that will stand the test!

  42. Laura says:

It’d have to be the fact that it’s made from sustainable timber and is so much more tactile in the child’s hand.

  43. Kristy says:

I just love that it’s timber and eco friendly. And the hours of fun that could be had with it!

  44. catlin Evans says:

Love the look and feel of wooden toys. This one is simple, but there’s loads to do and imagine. Great!

  45. Beth Kramer says:

My three year old has been on over 60 flights and has the worst carbon footprint of any child I know, but on the upside, she adores travel. She begged for her own suitcase for Christmas, recites word for word the safety messages along with the airline host, and is always planning overseas holidays – recently she told me ‘mummy, I have never been to South America – we should go there!’ This adorable airport would satisfy her travel fascination but be much more environmentally friendly than another plane trip… and we both particularly love the luggage belt!

    • Melinda says:

Wow 60 flights!! That’s more than any average person. Sounds like she is quite the traveller, especially reciting all the safety announcements.

I love that she is asking to go to South America, her world is going to be richer and filled with such wonderful experiences.

  46. Melinda Walters says:

Mummy, can we go on an airplane again today? My kids would love this, but it would really be a present for myself. I love that it’s untreated and non-toxic. The cute role-playing would be a bonus. Especially when the pilot has an argument with the passengers: “please stay in your seat.” I don’t wanna stay in my seat. “if you don’t sit down and do up your belt, we can’t fly”… and so it goes.

  47. Sharon Jones says:

Come fly with me, come fly lets fly away! The Plan Toys Airport is all that a child would want, with it’s working elevator, check-in counter, luggage conveyor belt and all of its amazing accessories. I would love to watch my childrens’ imaginations fly away with this fantastic toy.

  48. We have just returned from traveling to south africa and malaysia with a 3 year old and 9 year old so airports were a major feature to them, so i know they will love to recreate part of their holiday with this beautiful eco toy.

  49. Rowena says:

This is a delightful piece of artwork!
I love all toys made out of wood and this one has so much detail!!
I don’t know who loves it more the parents or children!
An endless amount of fun will be had!

  50. Rebekah says:

The plan toy airport has much to keep the little man (or lady) entertained. It has scope for imaginative role play, but I particularly like the moveable features – the elevator and the luggage conveyor belt – what fun!

  51. Sharon says:

Bright colours, superb quality, endless imaginative play, every mummy’s desire met for a wonderful afternoon of airport fun!

  52. shellie drysdale says:

my sister just shocked my socks off by telling me she is expecting her first baby. AND she is due only one week after me!!!!! i would really really love to share with her my addiction for eco toys and this would be a great start for her πŸ™‚

  53. Hi, this comment came directly from my three year old son.
“Oliver, tell Mamma why you like this toy”
“because it has a tower, to tell you when it is clear, to see planes coming and going, also the cars can go up the ramp”
My son has been in love with planes and helicopter since he was 1 and a half, flying has captivated him and can keep himself entertained for hours, this gorgeous airport will just add another dimension to his story telling when he plays.
I love your toys, keep up the good work for our children and environment!!

  54. Jesse says:

I love that if I win it, I can give it to my partner’s kids and get them off the Playstation and away from the television!!

  55. Zara says:

The design of it, it’s just awesome and it looks like a lot of fun.

The plan toys airport looks gorgeous. My son would love the plane and the cargo truck with its trailer. I’d love playing with the lift.

We love the luggage conveyor belt! Our 3-year-old daughter enjoys packing her suitcase and wheeling it around the airport whenever she visits her grandparents.

  59. Angela Hill says:

Airports are very important in the life of a little one when she lives in Sydney but her Gran lives in Byron and her Grandma lives in America!

With a Plan Toys airport we could fly to see them everyday!

  60. Catherine says:

Who needs plastic junky toys when you can have beautiful wooden creations that will last and be enjoyed for years, or even generations. If you’re a fan of Plan City, this airport would be the grandest, most exciting addition! As with all things Plan Toys, the quality & finish is beautiful and the design offers wonderful opportunities for extended, open-ended play. Stunning…

  61. Carolyn says:

My little guy would love this airport, and his Dad and I could easily lose hours and days joining him in play.

The sturdy construction means his brand new, 4-hours-old boy-cousin would be able to play with it long after my little guy is done!

  62. Felicity says:

This is a wonderful creative toy it offers so many opportunities for the imagination to run free; Her imagination will take her on endless adventures and voyages to anyplace she can dream of, she can roll play, dream, plan & build.
We love that it is so colourful and inviting, yet has such a gentle print on mother nature. Gorgeous.

  63. Carey B says:

I love that is made of sustainable wood, but most of all, I think it looks like lots of fun to play with!

  64. Marta says:

    This is just fantastic!
Made from sustainable wood, and so inviting to little eyes.
I love that it is an airport, there are so few aeroplane toys available, many are based around cars.
It is great that all the extras are part of the set, and has great moving parts too.
Working in a kindergarten, I know our boys would just love this airport.

  65. Belinda says:

How gorgeous – I love this because looks like the Brisbane International Airport!

  66. Kelly Fleur says:

    A toy that is sustainable,
    is really un-complainable,
    with planes and pilot playable,
great joy for me and you

    my excitement is not deniable,
    long lasting toys a parable,
    of endless fun attainable;
    bonding for me and you

  67. Fran says:

I adore Plan Toys and play with them as much as my kids do. I do, however, have a terrible fear of flying – so the Plan Toys Airport is the closest I could ever come to hopping on a real plane! We would all love it!

  68. Melany says:

Wow! Every detail is so freaking cute!! What a great design. Of course it is wonderful because it is so eco friendly!! Fantastic!! I think what appeals to my inner child the most is the elevator. : )

  69. Mish Howe says:

This little airport is a childs dream come true.
So very well designed and eco friendly.
Love it love it love it.

  70. Colleen says:

    Will he be a pilot?
    Or passenger with a bag?
Maybe he will be in the control tower
    Or drive a cargo truck.
    Whoever he is today
He will be someone else tomorrow.
    Playing with this airport
He can go anywhere and be anyone he wants.

  71. Amelia says:

I love the little yellow plane (my favourite colour!) and I love that the control tower looks like the space station from the Jetsons!

  72. jess kelso says:

    It looks awesome !!

  73. Elaine Clarke says:

I would love this for my grandson who is currently visiting with me in Ireland, but will be winging his way back to Australia soon…he’s totally in love with all means of transport and this would give him so much joy.

  74. Jo says:

I love that it’s wooden and unisex so both my little ones can get hours of fun zoom, zoom a zoomy zoom, zooming here and there with it.

  75. Leonie says:

What I love most is the working elevator between the levels – something so magical for kids about making the lift go up and down.

  76. sacha says:

My little boy, 18mths, is sleeping with his plan toys helicopter and wakes up each morning by zooming it through the air, its our alarm clock. Maybe immersion in the whole wonderful world of The Airport and extras will give this mama a few minutes more rest!

  77. Emily says:

I love that it is has aeroplanes! Sounds obvious I know. But my son loves to watch the aeroplanes take off and land at our local airport. He’s really getting into the pretend play now as he is almost 2, so this toy would be so fun!

  78. Eva says:

It’s not what I love about it… It’s what my 2 year old would absolutely adore about it that matters! Each morning he tells me he dreamt of “cars, twucks, awopwanes”. Would love to make his dreams come true with this at the end of his bed in the morning πŸ™‚

  81. Suzanne says:

I love the care put into this toy. When my daughter’s daughters are playing with it they will love as much as she did the up, down, zoom, vroom creativity. It is so healthy, for kids and the planet. Thank you.

Like many others, I love the fact that this gorgeous airport set is made from wood. Not only is it safe for children to play with, but it is a toy that will be around for your grand-children (and great-grand-children!) to play with.

  103. S. Franssen says:

I just love the luggage conveyer belt! We just got our three kids a little suitcase in the hope that we will be able to visit my parents and siblings (their grandparents and aunties/uncles) in Holland next year. My kids only see their parents on Skype every weekend but never face to face (until this October when they come visit), yet always when they see a plane in the sky they tell me Opa and Oma (grandpa and grandma) are on it. I can imagine this airport would be a great tool to help them prepare for picking up my parents from the airport and for going on a plane themselves. Thanks for the lovely competition.

  104. Marion McKewen says:

I like the fact that I have a new grandson that will love it when we get to play with this together.

  111. Su Chin says:

My boys would love this! I know it’ll be long lasting, as I used to have a wooden toy set as well, which my parents kept till this day!

    Thank you for this opportunity.

  112. Danielle says:

I love the fact that as my husband is from Ireland, every time we return to visit his home with our children, the Plan Toys Airport would let us role play catching our flight. (And it is wooden and safely non-toxic – very important).

  113. Candice says:

Wow what an awesome set. Both my boys would have a ball playing with something like this. I love the most that it is wooden and that it comes with the extras it comes with too – an airplane, cargo truck and trailer, a pilot and a captain. Hopefully no fights as there are plenty of extras to play with as well.

  114. Nicole says:

    Hi there,
My girls are both into airports and airplanes, as we are planning an overseas trip. Its so hard to find toys of this type that are not plastic. This looks great πŸ™‚

  115. Melissa K says:

First of all, thank you for the fab giveaway!
My boys ablsolutely love aeroplanes, they have a big collection of assorted toy aeroplanes in there room.
I love how this is made of wood and its built to last.
My boys would have a blast playing with thisβ™₯

  116. Clare says:

With 6 children we have learnt that quality of toys is very important. They survive our playful children and last a long time.
My 3 year old is obsessed with Planes at the moment and the Airport would be a very welcome and much loved toy for her and the other children.

  117. Christine says:

My daughter turns 2 tomorrow. She loves traveling on planes and visiting the airport here on Hobart. Lol. *I* love that it’s not pink and purple with princesses and glitter painted on it.

  118. Janelle Fox says:

This brings me back to my childhood, where the toys were made better, and made to last. I remember my brother had a wooden parking garage, and I use to steal it all the time.
I now have 3 children myself, and try to introduce things from my childhood, and are amazed that they too love them like I did!
I think all my 3 children (2 girls, 1 boy) would absolutely love to add this beautiful airport into their collection, and who knows, because its long lasting, they may be able to pass it on to their children πŸ™‚

    • Melinda says:

Glad our toys remind you of your childhood. There is something quite different about a child playing, creating, imagining with a simple wooden toy than with noisy, cold, plastic toys, that’s for sure!

  119. Nicole Strachan says:

I love quality wooden toys that last and can be handed around the family. The fact that they are environmentally friendly is a bonus.

  120. Cherie Nixon says:

Felix has been eying this off for some time now, he wanted one for christmas but santa didnt deliever.. Its his birthday coming up soon and he would love the airport for his birthday..
His favorite thing about it is the lifts for people/cars and the car ramps

  121. Bern says:

The sniffty lift that takes the blue man or the black man from level one to level two and back down again and back up again and back down again and back down again and back down again.Go up from the car, go to work and when work is finished, go back down again. How cool is that!

  122. Deb says:

This is just gorgeous! My 2 boys would love this. I love the red lift, as I know boys love to work out ‘how does this work’. Looks tough too. Reminds me of Adelaide airport, there favourite place to go when we pick up the grandparents who live overseas.

  123. Luz says:

We are moving from Melbourne to Sydney in a week and we’ve been traveling in southamerica until Christmas with our children (1 and 3).
This would be a great toy and a great tool to play and get them to feel comfortable about going to the airport as it will be a part of our lives coming to Melbourne to see the family!

  124. Chont says:

Can’t tell you how much my boys (and I) would love this airport. One loves planes and the other is autistic and has sensory issues- so good quality materials are very important in our family as he has fine motor problems & breaks things very easily. We’ve gone through numerous track sets. It would also help stimulate his imagination and provide hours of entertainment.

  125. Cindy Kane says:

Wow I absolutely LOVE this!!! My little nephew is a real hands on boy and is always on the go – he has a fascination with planes so would really adore this! I’ve always been a fan of wooden toys and still have a trainset of my sons that has really lasted the distance – especially with how rough little ones can be! Would absolutely love to win this for him for his birthday!!! Thanks.

  126. Tegan Hart says:

My little man turns 2 in March and he would be over the moon with this amazing Plan Toys Airport as a birthday gift! After MANY trips on the plane to see his Grandma and Grandpa, his imagination would certainly run away with him whilst playing with this incredible learning tool. I love how it is a natural wooden toy but I also love how it is so versatile and an entire little world for children to act out from actual flying to truck driving. What a special toy to treasure!

A seriously beautiful but simple looking wooden toy. I have a couple of boys I know would spend hours and hours playing with it. What I like most about it, is that it doesn’t require batteries to play with it! (why does everything need batteries these days?) remember when toys evoked the imagination of children? This brings back that simple fun.

i run a family day care business from my home as well as being mum to 3 children. I love plan toys – my son got the parking station when he was 2 and still loves it at 5. It is such good quality and i much prefer the quality and texture than plastic toys. I try to provide quality wooden/eco toys and recycled materials where possible for my day care children too. Would love to win this for them.

  136. I had trouble leaving a comment so apologies if it is left twice!

I love the fact that it is durable so it will last a long time and its untreated so no nasties fotr my little ones. I also love the fact that all 4 of my kids can play it together. (My kids are 11, 8, almost 3 and almost 1) My 2 youngest ones will learn so many things from this toy ie up, down, round, etc.

  159. Having a very active and eager 3 year old boy I have found that all the plastic toys he has been given over the years just do not meet up to his physical ‘standards’ and are often broken very quickly or run out of batteries πŸ™‚ Wooden toys are the only toys I buy him now as the stand the test of time and grow with him. What I love most about the Plan toys airport is that it is wooden, therefore will stand the test of time and will grow with him as his imaginary play continues to develop!! There are also so many different ways he can play with it so he can be entertained for hours!!
