Auburn Village – a unique shopping experience!

Looking for something to do these school holidays then why not come and visit our Eco Toys & Baby store in the beautiful Auburn Village shopping  precinct? We have a huge play area for kids with plenty of toys  and my daughter is usually there waiting eagerly to greet and play with kids visiting the store.

There are plenty of other children’s shops (Mill Mia, Tender Vuillermin, Petite Living) in the area and you can always pick up some stunning pre-loved children’s wear at Recycle Republic and then pop in next door for a delicious chai and lunch at Sprout Organic Cafe. We seriously go to Sprout everyday! Such great service, food and atmosphere and they have some great eco toys for kids to play with.

For parents there are so many amazing homeware stores like Est, Perfect Pieces and Scarlet Jones that all focus on beautiful natural and organic things for your home.

Plus there are two organic hairdressers in the village! So no more toxic hairsprays and hair colour.

After a year of avoiding hairdressers due to their toxic fumes I went to Edward Beale hairdressers with my 3 year old daughter. I thought it woud be an fun experience for her and it was! The staff were so friendly and happy to have her there, they had toys for her to play with and were actually passionate about the natural and plant based hair products they use.

But it’s not just Auburn rd itself that displays such gorgeous and unique shops! Burwwod rd is lined with a fantastic new book shop, recycled timber furniture, cafes, Hawthorn Studio Gallery, bridal shops and so much more that I simply don’t know where to start except to say that it’s definately worth the experience.

There are plenty of great parks surrounding Auburn Village including the popular Rocket Park in the beautiful Central gardens. There is heaps of room for the kids to run around and even BBQ facilities for parties and events.

So why not make Auburn Village your destination these school holidays or any day really for a unique experience of shopping, lunch and play? It’s easy to get to as we are right next to Auburn station and a bus stop.
